(D1) First day back after first study day
Today was my first work day after having a study day. I did feel a bit like I had missed a day and had to catch up on that whole missed day. After I had talked to myself a bit, talked to a very helpful colleague and worked through a mindfulness track from here https://www.anxietycanada.com/ I felt a bit better. So what is the so what from this? I actually knew that I didn’t have to ‘make up’ the day because it was built into my timetable and into my plan. I had also put an ‘out of office’ message on my email so people knew why I wasn’t replying straight away. My brain needed to be convinced of that. Stupid brain! In order to still my brain I also made a list and stuck to it. I wasn’t able to access the spoken relaxation as the website has changed since I last used it.
